RedBeard The Pirate - Arthur FOURNIER - Artside Game

Hello everybody,

today I share with you my first next-gen character I start during my class at Artside Game Art School.
I like history and pirates since few years so, making one of them was a real pleasure for me.
The concept art was made by : yongbin lee / dylan ( https://www.artstation.com/artwork/yDXgO )

This project was for me the ocasion to discover the XYZ workflow using Zwrap and Multichannel maps. I use for the first time the haircard's technique to create the beard.
It was also the first time for me to watch the zbrushsummit of Guerrilla Games to learn their workflow on detailling cloths etc...

I really liked working on this realistic character so I'll continue to work on that way.

For technical information, I worked on Zbrush, Marvelous Designer, Zwrap, Marmoset for baking and Rendering, Maya for Retopo and UVs, Substance Painter and photoshop.
I have 1 Texture for the Head
3 for the cloths
1 for weapons
2 littles for the eyes
1 for the haircards
All topology was made by me
